Hitek Imaging's plexie mounted prints are a photo matte print sandwiched between two sub straights.
The outer plexie glass intensifies the image making a high gloss print, most suitable for commercial displays or contemporary art.
Either white or black sentra are used to seal the back side. For a more elegant look aluminum can be used. Edges are sanded either straight or beveled.
An aluminum frame is attached to the back for hanging and also spaces the plexie print away from the wall, creating a floating elution.
If you are supplying Hitek Imaging with a print for mounting, true photo matte prints are preferred for this process. Ink jet prints tend to scratch during the cleaning process.
To insure a clean plexie mount Hitek Imaging can print the preferred paper for your plexie mount.
Prices are figured by the square foot.
Sizes range from 11" x 14" to 48" x 120"
Aluminum back is extra.
Pricing for plexie mounts are as followed.
Standard plexie mounts includes, printing, 1/4" front plexie glass, 1/8 (white or black sentra) backing, with an 7/8" deep aluminum frame for hanging all edges are sanded straight at $47.00 per sq. ft.
If you are supplying Hitek Imaging with a PHOTO matte print (not an ink jet), mounting is $38.00 per sq. ft.
Beveled front plexie edge add $1.50 per linear ft.
1/8" aluminum backing add $5.00 per sq. ft.
3/8" front plexie glass add $4.00 per sq. ft. Please note get's heavy for large prints.
1/2" front plexie glass add $8.00 per sq. ft. Please note get's very heavy for larger prints.
